I bought this glauca six years ago. It was a blooming-size plant, with six fat pseudobulbs all without any apparent damages or disease. However, at that time, I was also a clueless, careless newbie without experience...and this glauca has languished horribly under my "care".
Within a year, it nearly froze to death; it suffered dehydration, and fungal infection almost destroyed the entire plant. Soon it reduced into just two shriveled backbulbs. And I thought I lost my plant.
But miraculously, it survived.
And after all those years, it slowly recovered...and today, the very first bloom is about to open, as a testament of surprising resiliency of orchids. I am very proud of this plant.
