Nice! The leaves appear to have some good colour ------ and maybe that could possibly be due to decent lighting levels and conditions etc. So what a plant does, or what it is capable of doing ----- definitely depends on what it is provided with.

Very nice! Remember, this is most likely a natural primary between lueddemanniana and mossiae, so it will be more free flowering than the species, though many Cattleyas can bloom 2x per year.

Right. For the most part though, this has been acting more or less a mossiae (one growth a year, rest for 6 months). I was surprised that it was spiking in the spring and again in the fall, perhaps like lueddemanniana. I just thought it was interesting, whatever its background may be (hybrid, mutant strain, line-bred). I won't complain to have more of these flowers.
