Love it!
Also, I know you guys are being tongue on cheek, and I agree but what is the USE of any orchid? Like you can’t eat them, you can’t build with them. I don’t think I have ever looked at any of my orchids and thought “useful”! Lol

I saw a meme on Facebook saying that the plants are actually farming us humans, not the other way around. I think it might be true!

Interesting point DC!
I guess for the vast majority of people, the only use is just the positive feelings plants bring.
For some specific applications, orchids are a gold mine. They're used in perfumes, cosmetics and care products, and even in the pharmaceutic industry.
No need to talk about commercial values of cut flowers or clones in garden centres, or even Vanilla in every restaurant ever.

Your video was very helpful to me and you had good clear images. I could see all of the buds forming in the sheaths.
Maybe you’ll think this is silly but I grow orchids for their scent and these orchids never disappoint me! I used to volunteer in the orchid greenhouse of our Botanic garden and fell in love with some of the scents.

A meaningless bloom. I'm sure the fragrance is pointless and ineffective. I'll be sending you my address so you can rid yourself of this unproductive monstrosity of duplicitousness. You're welcome.

I typically won't grow anything that doesn't have a scent! I'm also a big scent fiend! lol
