Default Balancing a desire for cooler temps with the need for brighter light -OR- Epi medusae

i went out on a bit of a limb, as they say, with this plant and had to do something we all face which is the balancing act between our conditions, such as they are, and the needs of the plants.

i have an intermediate growing plant (already means i am too hot for it, in my previous experience) that needs high light. i was thinking i could go in SH and take advantage of the always cooler root zone and grow it in my patio so it was cooler and bright......the plant is pendulous...best laid plans....

so, i had some advice from the best (R ) and i made this rig up...it is a SH inspired basket with a trap door.

we shall see

the bottom of the basket is mostly sphag and then the roots, then LECA and rockwool cubes for the rest
