here is the fully reflexed/expanded flower a week later. the scent was non-existent until a few days ago- now it leaves a heavy sickly sweet scent throughout my whole house from about 5 am - 2pm.

Smells incredible! I have Walkeriana, Sharry Baby, Phal bellina, and Iwan Apple blossom in bloom right now. I think walkeriana is my favorite scent by a hair. Walkeriana is definitely the strongest. My grow room smells like heaven

I only picked up one Walkeriana 4n from SVO myself, but I did pick up 2 Dowiana aurea 4n, 2 Aclandae alba 4n, 1 Leopoldi 4n, and 1 Amethystoglossa 4n All are growing vigorously.

I missed the walkerianas from SVO (but got 60+ of other plants, including some amethystoglossas, leopoldiis, and a ton of hybrids from Fred).

I have killed several walkerianas. Then, in Nov 2018, Alan Koch spoke to DCOS, and I finally learned what I did wrong. So, I purchased one from Alan, and a few more from Exotic Orchids of Maui. The first (a semi-alba 4N selfing) is now mature, and finally showing signs of the 1st bud.

Photos to be shared soon.

yeah I picked up all of those except the amethystoglossa because I don't want to deal with its size. given Fred's current trajectory I expect this coming spring release to be an absolutely destructive force for my wallet.
