Rlc. Memoria Helen Brown
Chartreuse time again! Nice and fresh flowers for us all.
This one has no cultivar name. The petals are quite strong and bulky.

Excellent blooms. I had one of these many years ago (not quite sure what happened to it, now that I think of it). If my memory is accurate about Hellen Brown, her blooms were very nicely fragrant after having been open for about a week. Have you detected any scent on yours?

SM ----- thanks for asking about the scent (if any) on this one! So far, no scent at all. Not even a trace. The same situation for the previous flowering. No trace at all. But I will see if I can detect anything at any chance I get ---- and different times of the day for this one.
I grow 3 other kinds of Memoria Helen Brown too, and will see at their next flowering whether they have any fragrance. I'm sure that at least 1 of them will have something!! Fingers crossed!

These buds come from a different mericlone of this particular Rlc. Memoria Helen Brown ----- no cultivar name.
Different plant from the one in the previous pics ----- but same 'cultivar'. These buds here are a first time flowering for this individual plant.
Lettuce time once again! More pics to come of the new flowers.

The lip of both flowers are just beginning to spread out this morning. Expected to open right up.
The water drops on the flowers are due to rain from last night blowing onto the plants and the flowers.

These are all terrific! Such a great palate of colors.
As always, they evoke thoughts of food.. here, 1980s bubble gum. Outrageous colors and flavors
