Best spotted Cattleya yet Male
Default Best spotted Cattleya yet

I have invested in quite a few spotted Cattleya seedlings over the last 3 years. Today I saw the best one yet (not quite fully open):

Blc. Sun Spots x C. Caudebec, from Exotic Orchids of Maui

The lip is not perfect, but I have never seen petals like this in a spotted Cattleya before. The flower is a bit over 4" NS.

Whoah! That's quite the matchup of colors on that beauty. Nice!

It is a very nice spotted cattleya flower indeed. The petals are very nice and big too.

Compares very well with a SVO one (link).

I like the kiwi fruit colours and burgundy type spots in your flower, plus eye-catching lip colour Kim.

Even the inner portions of the side lobe has the flouro magenta colour. Very nice.
