Faithfully blooming again for the autumn season. It flowers twice in the year, at spring and again at autumn, and it is super easy to grow too! Of course, as it has 75% of walkeriana ancestry, it has wonderful citrus scents typical of walkeriana.
Three flowers, with two more coming.
It has nice mauve, blueish purple color. I know, this is not true blue, but sometimes it can really look like blue, especially when looking at it in morning or evening sun where the light intensity is low and the hue of the sunlight is rather yellowish...in other words, the eyes can pull a trick on you, but I find it to be rather pleasant to be tricked in this case.
However, one of the flowers has its dorsal sepal fused with the column. I have had this kind of defect before, so it might be a problem of my particular clone.
Nice color, nice overall shape, nice fragrance and super easy to grow and flower, in a small compact growth, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes "blue" cattleyas.
