I find fragrance is seldom mentioned when sellers are describing orchids they are trying to sell unless the plant is a one known for its perfume. Sellers on ebay generally use the description box to rail on about postage and their return policy rather than actually describe the plant they are trying to sell.

I agree Diane! The descriptions from a lot of sellers could certainly be improved. You'll probably encounter or have come across one particular seller that seems to have a pattern of placing 'very rare' just after the orchid name in the listing description hehehe. Not just for a few orchids ----- but pretty much all of them hehehe. And they're also generally little baby plants (which is ok haha) ..... but they are generally baby plants in baby pots for relatively high price (not that I'm against it ..... as sellers can put the price they like - I personally have no issue with their pricing).
I think I did purchase a couple of plants from that seller in the past though - a couple of years ago. Quality is good ...... just that the 'very rare' thing (even though actually not rare) is quite amusing hehehe. I mean that in a good way though. The particular seller is a good sort I reckon hehe.
