Cattleya bowringiana var. caerulea
Cattleya bowringiana can be a tall plant crowned with beautiful, intermediate sized flowers. This is the caerulea variety, a seedling flowering for the first time. Not so good in shape. Also, the color is lighter than some other clones I've seen.
(Right, I am aware that it is now Guarianthe bowringiana! )

Gorgeous, Mauro!
I have one of these, not coerulea, that looks great but hasn't been doing anything at all for a long time.
What conditions should I have it in?

Susanne, the same conditions you grow Cattleya aurantiaca. You have showed us aurantiaca in flower a few weeks ago, so if you can flower C. aurantiaca, then you can also flower C. bowringiana. Notice that it will not bloom properly until it is more or less 50 cm high.

Who could be 'blue' with an orchid like that blooming for them? I love it, Mauro, no matter what it is called today.
