This is an older, and somewhat unusual hybrid (Rlc. Memoria Helen Brown x Brassavola perrinii. There are not that manty perrinii hybrids around. It was registered by Stewart back in 1981, and they received the HCC on this clone in 1985.

I obtained this plant in an orchid society raffle last year. Since I broke it up into multiple divisions, I am only getting 3-4 flowers per inflorescence this time around, but when awarded it had two spikes with 11 flowers/buds each and a third with another 6.

Once the flowers mature, they are extremely fragrant (in the daytime). I will have to see if I can get a photo in focus; for now this is the only one I have.
