Default Brassavola Little Stars has spots on leaves and new growth

Brassavola Little Stars blooming size arrived by mail two weeks ago with spots on leaves and spots on the new growth that are progressing. Also, it’s not as healthy looking as I’ve seen on pictures.

I reported in net pot with bark and black lava rocks, in an indoor plastic portable greenhouse; daytime temp around 29c, night time 19c. I’m watering daily with RO and spritzing roots with water at noon-ish. Under a blurple 1200w led cob grow light, humidity range 50-70%.

I took one scale bug and rubbed the leaf with alcohol when I was reporting, and I didn’t see any other.

I read Notes and the article from a talk by Teluza that was shared back in 2018

This came with a tolumnia plant that is limply as well, potted in bark and lava rock. The leaves have indentations and doesn’t look healthy either. I read Notes and the article from a talk by Teluza that was shared back in 2018. I have the fan directed towards it constantly so roots dry quickly, I water with RO before 7 am and I spray mid-morning and noon. Fertilize weakly weekly, etc.

(With apologies that the pics are upside down, I take landscape photos using Apple iPad mini, I rotate but doesn’t fix it.)

I’d appreciate any advise about the spots and the health , vigor please. They’re not vibrant green. Thanks

The black spots on the B. are mechanical damage. This genus usually has spots like that. These two genera are fine with tap water, so save the RO for other plants. The Tolumnia is probably limp from the journey.

Thank you both for quick response...
...and I’ll use tap water and save RO for the humidifier.
