Yes. Mine typically keep popping out flowers for several months. I have a couple of them, with different bloom cycles. The one in bloom now got started in mid-May, I expect it to keep popping flowers until middle-late August . I have another, that tends to get started in October, and keep going until February or even March. (That one is a bigger plant) |

There are a number of similar species in Prosthechea and Anacheilium with varying flowering seasons. You should be able to look at little squids most of the year. Look up those genera in IOSPE. |

Since my plants came from society auction/raffle table sources, I would not bet two cents on IDs being correct... it is very possible that the two plants are different, very closely related species (though flowers look to my untrained eye as identical) Or they could have been separate and now lumped together anyway.

I just got one from Hausermann a few weeks ago, the first flower just opened (it arrived a size up from what I ordered and had 2 spikes!!). I have heard of it having a fragrance, but I haven't noticed much from it yet.

I have never noticed fragrance on mine, either. I think awhile back someone mentioned it and I took a sniff... nothing. If it has one, it's ephemeral. After all, I'm not sniffing 24/7...
