Primary hybrids question. Male
Default Primary hybrids question.

Does anybody know the name of the primary hybrid of:

C. Rex X C./L. Grandis
C. Rex X C Lueddemanniana
C. Rex X C. Violacea.

I have done a bunch of Google searches, but I fail to find the name. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Ray.
What are you using to find the names?
How do you know they are unregistered?

I used the Royal Horticultural Society for Rex x grandis and nothing came. Would that mean it is unregistered?

Thank again.

I recommend using the RHS site for seeing if a cross is registered (although you do have to check the cross in both directions [EG: rex × grandis and grandis × rex]). Another place I use a lot is https://bluenanta.com/.

I still have trouble sometimes using the RHS orchid database heheheh. I have a feeling that data-base needs an upgrade. Or could have improved features. But better than nothing, that's for sure!

I used Orchid Wiz. It’s usually good for such searches, unless it’s a new hybrid since the last database update.

Afid’s RHS advice is good.

Yes, if there is no match, it’s unregistered.
