Cattleya intermedia aquinii coerulea x C. Floralia's Azul

I purchased 3 or 4 of these, the last time Alan Koch (Gold Country Orchids) came to NJ. It is a young plant in a 4" clay pot.

I am not a fan of splash petal types, nor of coeruleas in general, but something told me to get a few of these.
I may have to revise my likes & dislikes!

Know what you mean! Tastes can change. In orchid growing - the fascinating thing might be - why are we involved with it? For taste/like of particular kinds of orchids/flowers? For pro growing/breeding, etc. Or a combination of things.

Whatever it is due to ----- the result is the amazing sharing of the results - the photos of the orchids like this. Flowers that we probably wouldn't be able to see otherwise.

Wow! How could you not like that?

I have a trio that I ordered from Alan a few years ago and I have just been waiting for them to bloom.
