Cattleya Walgery (primary hybrid), F2
When registered in 2001, it was probably Lc. Walgery (briegeri x walkeriana). This plant I grew from a small seedling (purchased end of Jan 2018). It is a selfing of C. Walgery (thus designated as an F2); this is the 2nd blooming.
It is not a great flower, as the segments do reflex some, but it is probably as good as it gets - without paying a premium for a mother division of a selected clone. The plant is moderately sized (grows in a 4" clay pot) and very vigorous; it has 2 blooming size front leads plus it has started a third lead from the back bulbs.
