Very weird growth of my Catt (L) purpurata. Male
Default Very weird growth of my Catt (L) purpurata.
This is my purpurata var. werkhauseri.

One of the latest growths has somehow stalled during development, resulting in very short bulb and leaf.

Even more stranger is that it has a stunted sheath, with buds forming inside of it.

It would be even more strange if it blooms normally...I'm not counting on it yet, but who knows?
