Reed stem Epidendrum - 2nd bloom seedling - Update
Reed stem Epidendrums are another of my (too many) passions. This plant bloomed first time last year, and is now blooming as a mature plant. It is fortunately fairly compact:

That's outstanding! And the stem next door is about to open it's ball of red fire (with some yellow dancing among it). Very nice indeed.

Sweet!! Kim you would love it down in the Redlands...the guys and gals down there make so many little crosses of these plants. No names, just described by traits; color, size, frequency of bloom etc.
I have a bunch all over the house. I’ll get some pics.
How big are these flowers? They look quite a bit bigger than the usual?

I didn't measure. I want to say near to 1.1/2" NS.

NS = Natural Spread = horizontal width.
VNS = Vertical Natural Spread
AOS judges normally record the dimensions in mm. Here I am using inches (1" = 25.4 mm).

This group of plants (purchased in September 2018) have not started to produce keikis yet. A couple of them have grown to the point that I am getting 3 or 4 flower heads this year. I might be able to make a few divisions next year.
