First of all, see new photo with 3 blooming reed stem Epis. Secondly, my 'kneejerk unmeasured size' is way off.

In the photo, you see 3 different reedstems. Left to right they are:
  1. Epi (Pacific Sun 'Blazing' x [Pac. Butterscotch x secundum] 'Beehive')
  2. The aforementioned red hybrid
  3. Epi Wedding Valley

The pale yellow was selected out of Cal Orchids display at the SEPOS show in 2019. It was a single stem plant, but it has grown well enough to give me 3 flower heads this year. Flowers are 1.7/16" NS.

The red hybrid is larger than I thought, it is slightly more than 1.7/8" NS.

Finally, Epi. Wedding Valley came in as a 'BS' plant from Kalapana in Jan or Feb 2018 (I think it was in a 2" pot, it was clearly NOT). It took a while to get it up to real BS, but this year it is producing 7 flower heads. Most flowers are 'off white', a few have a little pink.
