Hey everyone! Post your most fragrant Cattleya species, want to make sure I am not missing any strongly fragrant plants in my collection

Right now my most fragrant catts are BLC Ports of Paradise and Cattleya Iricolor.

RLC George King 'Serendipity' has a great fragrance. Sweet, and flowery, and citrusy. When mine blooms, you can smell it in pretty much the entire house.

Totally agree about C. iricolor. Mine bloomed at the same time as one of my C. nobilior, which perfumed the whole upstairs of my house from first light in the morning, until a couple hours later when my iricolor completely masked it. I had to put my nose within a foot to smell the nobilior.

Mine as well!

I've never sniffed iricolor. Makes me want to find one and grow it just for the scent!

Rhyncholaelia (Brassavola formerly) digbyana has a delightful, strong citrus smell. It's quite powerful and very pleasant. A lot of hybrids of digbyana will also have this scent, especially ones which have digbyana in the recent background of the hybrid. In fact I think digbyana is where the plant I mentioned before, RLC George King 'Serendipity', gets its citrus undertones. George King is 11.72% digbyana.

Oh wow, that's a good one, and they have it Hausermann right now. I feel the addiction creeping in. I'm trying to fight it, but before the sun sets, I will probably have ordered it hahahaha. Especially since it's from Hausermann. He has amazing Catts. Always huge for the price.
