Siam Jade is in fact listed as compact in many shops because it blooms at a smallish size and it gets nowhere near the size of a standard cattleya, however, that being said, I would maybe say it is compact-esque based on the one I have. Either way, it’s definitely worth having at any size.

Well, I finally got a call back from Marlow's orchids to complete my purchase of my Cattleya tenebrosa, and I did indeed to ahead and add Siam Jade to my order. I actually got the last one he had. It's like it was meant to be!
