Very nice. I like the translucence of the petals.

Very beautiful.
Portia is also one of my favorite autumn cattleyas.

Beautiful!
BTW, Des, is the name on the label written with 't' or with 'c'? I mean is it written C. Portia or C. Porcia? I am asking because the FCC/AOS awarded clone 'Canizarro' belongs to Cattleya Porcia, a hybrid of second generation different from C. Portia, a primary hybrid between C. bowringiana and C. labiata.

Portia or Porcia??
Good question Mauro. I had second thoughts and thought it might have been mis-spelled.

Wow you guys are sharp !! I thought no one would notice. Anyhow just to be sure I went into my records and found that I purchased 10 Catts from The Green Orchids Co , Taiwan for the sum of R275.00 (about $35.00) in November 1989 One of those catts is G740 Porcia Cannizarro AM/RHS Just goes to show don't rely on your memory !!
