I've purchased a number of Oncidium intergenerics from Akatsuka, and I've always been impressed by the quality. This is the first Cattleya I have bought from them, and I am not disappointed. It was 35 dollars, and it is bigger than I expected for the price. The leaves are unblemished, the root system is very healthy, and it arrived in perfect condition. The flower bud opened two or three days after it arrived. It is only in bloom on one growth, but it appears to be growing in three different directions, so I expect that next time, it will bloom on multiple growths. Anyway, just wanted to show everybody and say that I highly recommend Akatsuka for Cattleyas in bud.
