Default Cattleya labiata

The first lead flowered in September. For some reason I can't figure out, the second lead, although at the same vegetative developmental stage as the first, didn't develop its buds until a couple of months later, which accounts for the late blooming of these flowers.

Steve, I don't know where the cross originated, but it's 'Sherwood Forest' x 'Goliath' (at least according to the label).

Stunning flower. Looks very similar to one I have...so much so that I have to check the tag tomorrow
