Default Cattleya labiata ('do Roberto' x 'Ipanema')

This one went through a 2 year long "I'm taking a break from all these orchids" hiatus and it was watered maybe once a month. She was lucky that it was in LECA and that held some humidity, otherwise it would have died like a lot of the others in bark (yes, I am a bad orchid father). Afterwards she took some time to recover and now it blooms two times a year, usually on both leads. I cut through the rhizome and I look forward to more leads.

That coloring is so intense it sort of hurts my eyes. Wow!
