Cattleya General Pau semi-alba

Cattleya General Pau is a primary hybrid between C. labiata and C. lueddemanniana. The parents are supposedly tipo, so they both might have had semi-alba genes.
Got this as a seedling in November 2017 and grew it indoors under lights. This is its first bloom and it has another bud developing in the sheath. The flower is 20 cm (8") across, a giant in my book.

I do have some doubts, could this actually be a semi-alba gaskelliana? I never had a gaskelliana bloom, as they are still young so I have nothing to compare with.

Beautiful! I think this is General Pau. The color on the lip looks like a good intermediate between the two parents.
