Default bifoliate new growths

Hi all- just went through my first year growing some of the bifoliate hybrid cattleyas- leoloddiglossa etc. They all did great outside, many blooming and becoming very established for me.

Observing them over the winter, they seem to like to stay slow down under lights, doing lots of root growth and no new top growths. Now that its halfway through May, I still haven't seen any signs of top growths on 2 or 3 plants. They matured their last growth last Sept-Oct.

Is this a normal growth rhythm for these mature bifoliates? When should I expect movement on them?
