I've had the coerula for a few years and I dont remember who i got it from. No name on the tag. I think it probably came from the Dayton show...maybe. It's one the just wants to walk across the pot and isnt popping any side growths so when it gets a little bigger I'm hoping to divide it down and maybe I can get a couple of dormant, side eyes to pop. That is if I don't lose it like the others.

Sounds exactly like mine as far as growth habit. The newest spike is already over the edge of the pot.

Next time I have blooms, I'd be happy to send pollen. You'll have to walk me through the process though...I've never done it.

Hmmmm..... it's looking like I might have 2 different coerulea coming into bloom. I'm hoping for really good things from the second one, 'Canaima's Festival' from Michael Sinn via Dave Off.

I’d love some pollen! You want alba pollen?

Stunning. Is there any difference in culture between this and the walkeriana?

Absolutely. But don't ask me the difference, because while I do pretty well with nobilior and flowered my original for the last 3 years, I have been completely unable to flower walkeriana!

Very similar! Nobilior likes a bit drier winter.
