Owners of Laelia milleri - An important question

Its blooming season is summer. It won't be this year, for sure. Now it will grow a new pbulb, I think.

Since all the other conditions seem to be the right ones, I think I know what the problem is: light duration.
I can't increase light intensity 'cause it will burn the leaves. It has been in a spot that, by mid afternoon, gets shadowed by my Laelia anceps (much bigger pot). If I change its position I can increase "almost direct sun" by 4 more hours, at least.

That sounds excellent. And if it can acclimate to more light gently, it really can tolerate quite a bit of intensity, but a little shading in the middle of the day will certainly help it tolerate the heat.

A new growth...not sure if it's out of season as the previous one happened in June (the first from the right side in the photo).
