Cattleya in moss questions

I would be concerned about getting the medium too saturated with an overnight soak. Since it was just potted, probably would not hurt to unpot for the soak.
Ray? What is your advice?

When I rescued the Rl. digbyana, I soaked it with no medium, then over the next week or so, I used that soaking solution (2 tablespoons per gallon is the ratio) to water the plant after I potted it (whatever the watering frequency) When that was used up, I then went to the once a month treatment. Took awhile, but the plant did come around.

I found an old post from Ray regarding a rootless Paph where he said 1 tbsp per gallon, but I can up the concentration if necessary.

I was also thinking that pulling the plant out of the pot probably won’t be detrimental at this stage. I guess I’d just like to assume that I didn’t kill its only live root during the moss extraction. Hopefully, it’s still there.

Actually, you're right... when I make up my "juice" it's a 2 gallon sprayer so I use 2 tbsp... 1 tbsp per gallon is correct. Sorry.

The plant at work just started pushing a root. Hopefully the one at home follows suite soon.
