That's a stunning bloom. Many of those "old school" corsage cattleyas were, in my opinion, much nicer than today's hybrids. And the fact that many of them are substantial plants when they reach adulthood just adds to their attraction for me. There's something about compact and miniature cattleyas that doesn't really appeal to me.
