Water culture
Does anybody do water couture for their catasetum? I was thinking since they're such heavy feeders that it would be good for them.
Would I put the p pseudobulb in a jar before the new growth in the spring or easier until there are roots that are established?

Most people don't water them at all during winter, when they're dormant. I don't know what would happen if they stayed wet all winter.
Many people stand them in dishes of water in summer. It will be interesting to find out how your plant grows.
