Cycnoches warscewiczii
Bought this plant last year at redlands from SVO... it was the last cycnoches plant they had left...
Looks to be a quality flower, it is a small plant on its third bulb, but the second bulb also had a bloom before I bought
it.
I like it...it does have a strong fragrance

Question, is this plant a named variety? The photos I've seen a pale green.

Cyc. warscewiczii is yellow. Cyc. chlorochilon, ventricosum, and lehmanii are green.

Color also depends on how long the flower was open when the photo was taken... my Cyc. warscewiczii opened green, but became more yellow after a few days, was fully yellow after about a week.

this is a seedling and not a clone, when it grows up I may submit for judging... however I believe SVO has kicked up the level of quality in this species and may not be that easy to get some paper from the AOS

Mine too... also an SVO baby. ('OMG' x 'SVO Jumbo Super') SVO doesn't do many clones because Fred is always trying to improve things so most of the production is from seed. I did take these photos when the flowers first opened, the greenish cast is accurate.
(When he hits a home run, as he did multiple times with Fdk. After Dark cultivars, Fred does clone so that the rest of us can have these unique ones - especially since they are all different and wonderful. But not with species)
