Thanks all- followed up with Fred Clarke. Says it is most likely the environment change, more specifically the humidity difference. He believes they will unfurl after some time.

This is a new indoor grow environment for me. Was in a closet, now in a new location and a basement. Was not running the humidifier when I brought them in, so I can image the drop of humidity was a shock.
