watering off season catasetum
Hi everyone! I am pretry new at orchids, and I recently got a Monnierara Millennium in late july. It came with a spike about to bloom, and came on a pot with compacted moss. It did bloom, and lost flowers abt Mid August. The media has remained very humid the majority of the time, and for that reason I barely water it... i repoted it after it lost the flowers, as it came from a nursery where I got other orchids full of snails. The roots looked great and white, no snails or pests, the roots were very attached to each other, and I let them stay stick like that. The new media of Nz sphagn moss and coco ut husk, continues almost permanently humid. I think I have watered this guy may be 3 - 4 times total since I got it ( in 2 months) I noticed that the pseudobulb is wrinkling, but the media remains very humid. Should I water, as it is shrinking some? Or should I stop water as it is losing leaves? Thanks!!
