Wow. You don't see these very often. The color and presentation of the flowers makes it easy to see why it would be a favorite. Thanks for posting.
Acineta is a related genus grown somewhat more commonly, or Stanhopea and Paphinia more distantly related and even more common.

I grow it in a large basket with sphagnum. It grow with Acineta and Stanhopea. It's more difficult to find it than To grow it.
You need to have a big place for it cause it's near 1,5 meter (plant + Spike ).
