Default Catasetum Kleberbarb

I finally have bloomed the correct hybrid! After a few 'Dentibarbs', here is Kleberbarb (kleberianum x denticulatum). Still a small plant with two small spikes, but an interesting lip form and colour contrast. And it smells like cat pee. And, no, I do not have a cat. Fortunately not enough to fill a room, one should simply avoid sticking the nose in there. I might have some fun over Christmas.

I am not usually a fan of the dark colors in these but that is spectacular. The lip is great...both in color and shape.

Steve, the pbs are about 8cm x 3cm with leaves adding another 20cm. Definitely on the small order, good for breeding miniatures (for Catasetum metrics). My dentibarb has the same proportions.
The scent is changing, by the way. This afternoon there was a peculiar honey ovetone. Quite bizzare. Like the cat had diabetes.
