Monnierara Spike or Pseudobulb?
Months of inactivity, I just found one new pseudobulb and one little growth. I hope it's a spike but I'm not sure what to look out for!

It's probably too soon to say. If you wait a week, it'll be more obvious. Since you have a new growth, it could just be trying to throw two out at once.

It looks like a new growth(p-bulb) to me, but I hate getting my hopes up, so I play it cautious. Are there any leaves still on the previous growth? The media looks very wet

Well, I've only received this plant 4 months ago. It hasn't done anything until I noticed last weekend that I had a couple few growths. It didn't too really well with transport - lost a leaf, some spotting on the remaining leaves and one ripped leaf. It still have its leaves now, and is planted in complete sphagnum moss.
I really want to repot it in another pot because it's really overgrowing the tiny 3x3? square pot... but everyone says to leave it alone. I guess I'll keep on waiting and watching.

Repot before the new growths get long, breakable roots, just as root nubs start to show, regardless of the status of the previous growths. Don't overpot, snug is good. I've learned this through trial and error. Better to have to water every day as opposed to the roots staying too wet for too long. Maybe try a 4" or 4 1/2" pot. Patience pays dividends

Ya, that growth looks pretty pointy to me as well. Probably a new growth.

Keep us informed. My money's on new growth. Sorry.

So about a month has passed - here's an update and it does seem like new growth. It also dropped two leaves from the main bulb in a matter of two weeks). The other leaves aren't yellowing and are kind of just chillin.

Would it be about time to repot this baby in fine bark?

If this plant were mine, I would repot now, and carefully, to avoid damaging the new growth. Those emerging roots are very tender. Then stop watering and allow it to go dormant; this will prevent rot in the new growth.
Congrats on a nice, healthy new pbulb coming on!

Yep, time to repot and water when the roots are 4" long. I'd say that will be about 2 months from now. No dormancy this year!
