Yes, usually it's not hanged and that was the only place I could do it.
luckily, it's in the same room where it is growing.
Last year I had a glimpse of its fragrance...resembles pepper, right?

I just remember it as being really strong, and sudden. It will be awhile before I see my wardii this year (if it blooms) - usual time is late September or into October, I am not even seeing the start of spikes yet. And Stan tigrina is still a week or two away, running late (usually mid-July). We had a cool spring and it still is moderate (hooray, the last two years were rather awful)

If I had the conditions to hang more plants around the house, I would get some more Stan species.
The flowers are amazing, filled with details.

They are so wonderfully strange. This one looks to me very much like a squid.
It is so sad that the flowers are short-lived. But they make up in beauty, weirdness, and fragrance what they lack in longevity.

My home is small and I grow on windowsills, growlights and outside weather permitting. I'm crazy for these plants and have 5 in various size pots. An Assidensis x Ronsard has bloomed reliably this time of yr. for about 5 yrs and a jennishiana is spiking after 6 yrs. Waiting on some others but maybe too young. My point being don't be put off by space if possible. Your bloom is magnificent and they all smell sooo good(to me)!
