Default Coryanthes Bloom

I thought this bloom should have its own thread bc it's AWESOME! Haha This is one of the coolest orchids in my collection and so far is a great bloomer. Still smells great, however I can specifically describe what it smells like. It resembles sweet licorice.
I am not sure what this orchid is called, the tag says acranthes, but it could be macranthe?

Thank you, I have seen two growths that actually look like spikes! These are very clear to distinguish as spikes

Thank you...thank goodness this orchid was in spike bc I just moved and since only a few of orchid were in spike I was able to find a display space for them. The others that I moved, I placed infront of the window. My sun loving, early morning boyfriend opened the curtains and within one hour I lost about five orchids (mostly primary phals 😭&#128557 and many others were set back by sunburn. I was planning on moving them upstairs that very morning but I wasn't fast enough
