Is this a Stan bud?
So, an opinion would be appreciated please.
I bought a couple of Stans, one has a small spike rising up at 45 degrees, but the other one has this coming out horizontally.
Could it be a flower bud?

It just looks very different to the shoot on the other one, which I'm certain is a new bulb forming. This is completely horizontal so far.

Need a closer photo that is in focus.
Horizontal growth sounds like a possible inflorescence, but can't be sure unless we can see it.

Looks like a spike to me, but the photo is too zoomed out to be sure.

Bit difficult as it's very hard to get the camera where I can take an easy shot.
It does look so different from the spike on the other Stan that barring a miracle, it is a flower spike for sure.
They really weren't kidding when they said it was flowering size.

That is a spike.
Is this in a basket?
If not, the spike might just start digging into the mix and you might lose it. lol
Place something hard underneath it and encourage it to "walk" along over it until it reaches the edge of the pot.
Keep us posted!
