New bulb or spike

Monn. Millennium magic dropped leaves already, but now it is growing something new. I am not sure if is a spike or new bulb. To keep water it or stop. Please help.

Hmmmm. Hard to say until it gets a bit larger. If it's triangular, it's a new pseudobulb. If it's linear, it's a inflorescence.
General rule is: no leaves, no water. At least until the new pseudobulb is 3 -4" tall (really that should be roots 3" long but you can't see the roots).
Your pseudobulbs look pretty big. It hasn't flowered already the Fall?

This probably shouldn't have had any water for the past month. Is the media wet?

It also doesn't matter whether this is a spike or growth, no water!!

Indeed!

However, if this one is sending out a new growth, it won't need water for a month at least! Otherwise it will rot.

Thank you for your answers! No water then.
It looks triangular, so i suppose it is a bulb. The last leaves got yellow and i cut them off about a week ago. It was watered well till then. So did it entered into a new cycle without resting? And no flowers this season?

Typically, the plant will tell you when its growth cycle starts and ends (as Manfred alluded to), so you'll want to stop watering when the leaves start dropping. Watering the plant may have caused it to start growing the new bulb, but maybe not. Its tough to say. You might just get a spike in a few weeks or you might get two spikes after the new growth matures.

Next year, stop watering well before the last leaf turns brown and let it rest. This is just to be safe so that your plant doesn't rot. If you can keep your winter temps warm (above 55 degrees), they don't mind growing through the "dormant" season and will not rot.
