Default Monn. Millenium Magic Witchcraft very thin pseudobulb

I purchased a Monn. Millenium Magic 'Witchcraft' in full bloom in late February. It went into dormancy shortly after I purchased it. After maybe 6 weeks I had new growth. I waited until the new growth was 3-4 inches before I started to water. It was in a south facing window, after I started to water I moved it under lights (I have LED lights).
I have a new pseudobulb with multiple leaves, but it is very very narrow. Do they become thicker as time goes on or am I stuck with a wimpy new growth?
It is potted in moss, so I am only watering every couple weeks, it does not dry out very fast. I use Green Jungle Orchid Food and have been fertilizing every third watering
I am also getting some thinned out brown spots on the leaves, I am assuming they are burns. I have discovered mealy bugs on some of my orchids (lost my favorite phal ) but I have not found any on this one and I did spray it with insecticidal soap once. I have been checking it constantly, nothing seen.
I was thinking about moving it outside with my Cattaleyas for the rest of the summer, not sure if that would help at this point

There is a good cultural information for Catasetinae on the Sunset Valley Orchids Web site. Sounds like you aren't fertilizing enough.

Throw this one outside, but watch for spider mites. This group is prone to attacks from these critters. While growing, this one is VERY hungry and VERY thirsty. Don't let it stay sopping wet, but don't leave it dry for long. The new growth should fatten with age.

I put it outside and I'm already seeing the bulb thicken up. I'm very cautious with orchids potted in moss only as I've killed several due to overwatering and root rot but so far this one looks happy. Just have to watch the really rainy spells. Thanks.
