Indeed! One of my other 4 legged children is always extremely curious about how my orchids taste!

Well, one of the peanuts (we have 3) has a nickname - Cattleya murderer....says it all....and our bullterrier LOVES fragrant orchids, always sticks her nose into the flower sniffs a bit, wags her tail and walks away with a smile on her face!

My little Creature ate all but one of an entire flask full of Dendrobium subuliferum seedlings in one sitting.

That must have been one delicious Dendrobium flask!! The Cattleya murdered attacked again today - this time my running shoes were the victim. I guess that's what we get for having a 9 month old border collie!

Good work on the Gongora! I can't remember if this one is fragrant or not.

It's lightly fragrant Steve. The first day the blooms smell like an orange spice potpourri to my nose. Then for the rest of the life of the bloom it has a very clean citrus scent that makes me think of fabric softener.

Crazy good! What a change from the pix of 8/1! I think thru some kind of osmosis the canine-colored blooms are some thing he's(she's?) had a hand in! What's the plant hanging nearby?

The flowers are sort of dog colored at that! The other plant is a Vazqeziella boliviana.
