I am a recent convert to Sanhopeas unfortunately there are very few that I can keep in South Florida or I would have everyone I could find, nicely done!

Most of the time (but not always), Stans bloom straight down. Bulbs at the edge of plant might bloom sideways, but bulbs not at the edge will have to send buds down. Grandiflora is an exception, that often sends buds sideways or slightly up.

There are many species you can grow in south Florida!!! What makes you think you can't grow Stans there?
