actually, they were separated from the Catasetum genus a long ago, based on the fact that their flowers are hermaphrodites... with nomenclature is always a challenge, the ones changing the names every second day and the others being reticent to change and adopt new ones... That's why you normally find this plant under both Catasetum and Clowesia
