This time I got only 4 blooms but I've seen them with many more so I'm hopeful for future bloomings

As Ramon said, the flowers of Clowesia are considered "perfect" as they have pollinia and an ovary - but I think Catasetum flowers are perfect, too! Just in another way...
That is a beautiful flower!

What was the trick, do you think, to get it to bloom. Sure did take a while!

Was it just maturing. . .or what!

LOL...when they're not blooming, they're just green plants, which I've always had.

Don't know what made it decide to do anything but it's already got a nice new growth going on it
