Hi Steve!
The current "La Niña" is only "moderate" (according meteorologists), and in 2007 we had less rain (and higher temps!) than usual! I don't know this january is only a isolated fenomena (in january usualy rains a lot, but typical 'summer rain', lots of heat and sun all day and showers in the late afternoon) or all the summer will be this way (lower temps and continuous rain). No only orchids are in danger
