Lemonade
Last fall I brought 4 Catasetum hybrids in to spend their dormancy where they wouldn't freeze. 3 out of the 4 handled it with no problem. My Fdk 'Morning After' x C. pileatum 'Green Gold' didn't. It became obvious early on that rot had set in at the base of the previous year's pseudobulb, as well as the 3 older ones. I dried it out as quickly as I could, and it spent the winter under intense led lighting in a constantly humid environment. Late winter I noticed a couple tiny nubs beginning to form and I thought "at least I'll get a bloom out of it". Well, no such luck, but:
