Default Stanhopea Mormon Pioneer (?)
This was purchased from Hoosier Orchids in 1991. Mormon Pioneer was registered as ( gibbosa X panamensis ) but this looks more like Stan. oculata to me. The fragrance is more like oculats also, a strong aroma of chocolate. I have no idea what Mormon Pioneer should look like.

Is this a hard orchid to care for and get to bloom? I've wanted one for over a year now but have always been a little intimidated by it, and don't really know why.
